The gardens of Villa Taranto, located in Verbania, between Intra and Pallanza, are known all over the world for their beauty and for the wealth of floral species they host. The result of the scrupulous elaboration undertaken by Captain Mc Eacharn in 1931, these gardens with a thousand chromatic shades and a thousand intoxicating scents give wonderful from March to November floral scenography to visitors.
It represents one of the most important botanical gardens in the world, with thousands of species of plants and flowers from all over, harmoniously distributed over an area of about 16 hectares, crossed by 7 km of avenues. It is impossible to give an idea of the richness of colors, scents and emotions: eucalyptus, azaleas, rhododendrons, magnolias, michelia, maples, camellias, dahlias, tulips, lotus flowers, heathers, dwarf asters, hydrangeas, numerous tropical plants, and other rare specimens.
